This position will oversee the day to day operations required to support global network and voice operations including corporate headquarters, branch offices and manufacturing facilities. Utilizing managed service providers and internal resource, this role will be responsible for developing communication plans for coordinating site outages and maintenance work.
This position will be responsible for assisting with the technical design, planning, implementation, trouble-shooting and performance management of the network and voice environments to support mission critical enterprise systems and sites. They serve as a technical expert for complex technology solutions such as Routing, Switching, WAN/LAN, Ingress/Egress, Wireless, VoIP, and provider connectivity for corporate offices and remote/branch sites as well as remote workers. Technologies include but are not limited to DMZ, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and VoIP communications as well as mobile device solutions and carriers.
This position will act as a key strategic advisor to the IT team, key stakeholders and end users. Other duties include assisting project teams with technical issues and solution, as well as technical analysis and design and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
This individual should be and self-motivated and capable of working both independently as well as part of a team.
