    Overview: Manage generic product portfolio supply, both forecast and actual.  This role will work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance and Sales.

    Responsibilities

    Demand Planning - Work with Supply Chain and Finance to make sure that there is the proper amount of inventory and safety stock for each NDC in the current marketed portfolio

    • Communicate award changes (gains/losses) to Supply Chain in a timely manner to avoid overstocks and/or backorders
    • Evaluate our ability to supply one-time buys and take on incremental business
    • Support Sales regarding customer questions related to supply
    • Work with Supply Chain and Finance to identify short dated inventory/overstocks. Evaluate obsolescence risk, market size, competitive landscape and market pricing. Recommend to Management where action should be taken.
    • Attend all S&OP Meetings and work collaboratively with Supply Chain to achieve key performance metrics (i.e. forecast accuracy %)

    Order Management – Identify products that should be added or removed from Manual Allocation.

    • Work with Sales to prioritize the release of customer orders when items are backordered.
    • Work with Customer Service to insure outstanding orders are being cancelled in accordance with Customer’s policy.
    • Provide a list of orders for release to Customer Service once product becomes available. If applicable, communicate expedited shipping requirements.

    Marketing Support for New Product Launches

    • Work with a cross functional team to bring new products to market
    • Develop forecast model, both demand and financial
    • Labeling approver for Marketing
    • Obtain required set up documents (SDS, HDA, etc.)

    Portfolio Management - Brands

    • Work with Legal, Commercial and Finance to identify Brand LOE dates
    • Determine AG rights and AG launch timing
    • Have knowledge of settlement agreements and pending litigation

    Collaboration – Effectively work with internal and external customers

    • Exhibit proper communication with business partners at all levels of the organization
    • Effectively follow up with business partners to advance projects

    Other Responsibilities

    • Weekly Backorder Report – prepare and send to Customer Service every Friday
    • Weekly Order Report – update/maintain rolling 12 weeks
    • Pipeline Slide – update and provide to Sales when needed
    • Adhoc analysis as requested by manager

    Qualifications

    • Demand Planning - Work with Supply Chain and Finance to make sure that there is the proper amount of inventory and safety stock for each NDC in the current marketed portfolio
    • Order Management – Identify products that should be added or removed from manual allocation
    • Marketing Support for New Product Launches
    • Portfolio Management - Work with Legal, Commercial and Finance to identify Brand LOE dates and prepare for AG launch
    • Pharmaceutical experience required, generic pharmaceutical experience preferred
    • Finance/Accounting background preferred
    • 5+ years relevant work experience
