    The Sr. Claims Coordinator is responsible for researching and processing all customer claims that are not rebate (commercial or government), outdated return, or chargeback related. This includes invoice-related claims, for damages, shortages as well as price related claims.


    Primary responsibilities are to accurately research, process, document, and write up credits for claims that are valid. Responsible for claims identification and processing of claims for RX and OTC claims. This position independently researches and analyzes relevant data/information in order to recommend appropriate solutions for issuing credits/returns for customers.


    • Receives/logs incoming claims, keeps status of progress, and provides status report to Customer Service Manager.
    • Validate claims through various methods of research and analysis using policies and procedures guidelines. Based on results of research, determines value of credit due to the customer.
    • Work closely with the Account Receivable team; Kenco and Greenville warehouse to obtain information, feedback, and approvals. 
    • Works with Customer’s on an as-needed basis to obtain additional understanding and background on submitted claims.
    • Communicates details of material claims to Accounts Receivable, upon receipt and completion. 
    • Monitor deductions using the AR aging.
    • Ability to Manage your time, prioritization of claims, understand the urgency in completion of claims and the ability escalate appropriately any issues 
    • Responsible for maintaining an effective customer focus (internal/external): communicating with and providing supporting documentation for error resolution, efficiencies to reduce future errors and collection of disputed balances as needed 
    • Ensure all credits are sent out to Customer’s along with required information in daily/timely manner.
    • Requires ability to read and understand contracts, fee schedules and account histories, and make a well-formulated business decision.
    • Meet all deadlines.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.
    • Ability to work in multiple systems to extract appropriate data required to provide resolution


    • 3 plus years’ experience in Customer Service / Claims
    • Must have experience with Wholesale customers such as Cardinal, McKesson or other small wholesale customers
    • Strong reconciliation
    • Strong excel and analysis/reporting skills 
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Prior experience with 3rd party processors (Inmar, Genco, etc.)
    • High school grad plus some college
    • Familiar with SOX guidelines and procedures
    • Analytical skills
    • Able to work in fast-paced environment
    • Sound judgment with exceptional problem-solving skills
    • Flexible and able to adapt with change
    • Organized and works well under pressure
    • Good communication skills
