  • Overview

    Bausch Health’s Corporate Treasury Group is seeking to hire a highly motivated treasury professional with strong analytical skills for the role of Manager, Treasury Operations. This position reports to the Vice President Treasury Operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage cash operations, including daily cash positioning for bank accounts supporting  corporate and US activities
    • Coordinate with members of the treasury team and regional finance teams to ensure adequate liquidity across all legal entities
    • Consolidate and report global cash balances on a weekly basis
    • Develop short-term and mid-term weekly  cash forecasts for US operations through interactions with key representatives from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business Development, and Commercial Rebates Operations
    • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding requests from global entities as relates to issuing bank guarantees and Letters of Credits
    • Manage the Letter of Credit Operations including issuing, tracking, renewing, and payment of associated fees in accordance with Credit Agreement
    • Lead the global bank account management activities to ensure optimal number of accounts for required coverage and adequate control. Activities also include ensuring appropriate resolutions and signatories, and overseeing opening & closing of accounts
    • Manage bank account database management system. Audit global bank accounts and signatories quarterly to ensure accuracy
    • Track global bank fees and analyze fee schedule quarterly for opportunities to reduce costs
    • Provide operational support for Wire Transfer, Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) payments, etc.
    • Ensure compliance with SOX, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other Treasury policies.  Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements as required to assure that treasury services are adequately controlled, properly accounted and reported
    • Assist in the evaluation of systems and tools for treasury operations
    • Support the Treasurer and Vice President Treasury Operations in managing relationships with  banking partners
    • Support all internal and external audits as they relate to treasury services
    • Support special projects and any other duties required by the Treasurer and Vice President Treasury Operations

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in Finance, accounting or Treasury with recent experience in treasury management role
    • Good understanding of accounting and finance concepts
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel with excellent analytical and modeling skills
    • Excellent time and project management skills, ability to plan, organize and set priorities
    • Proactive, results focused, high achiever, delivers on commitments
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with attention to details
    • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Treasury systems, and other analytical tools
    • Team player with the ability to build and leverage internal and external alliances
    • Experience with multinational, public companies, preferred
    • Manage and direct a Treasury Analyst.
