The Sr. Manager, Commercial Analytics will be responsible for building and leading the newly formed Commercial Analytics function supporting the Branded Pharmaceuticals Business Units (GI, Dermatology, Opthamology, Women’s Health) in the “New” Valeant. The Commercial Analytics function is responsible for reporting and analytics around the performance of the commercial business supporting the Sales & Marketing teams in understanding and answering critical business questions. This person will be accountable for evolving the function from a data reporting function to an insights, analytics and decision support function. The person needs to be able to adapt the activities of the team to meet the varying needs of a large and diverse product portfolio of both inline and pipeline brands. This person must be comfortable in operating in a fast paced changing “startup” type environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing 3-4 Business Analysts and serving as the face of the function to Commercial Operations leadership, General Managers, the CFO, and CEO. The position reports directly to the VP, Commercial Insights & Analytics.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate and collaborate. This candidate will also have demonstrated initiative, creativity, and ability to work in complex, rapidly changing & ambiguous environment. A proven self-starter with strong hands-on orientation, this candidate will have demonstrated the ability to manage, lead, inspire and develop direct reports.
