The Director, Marketing will be responsible for driving strategy, execution and growth across multiple high-priority Bausch + Lomb brands.  This position, to be located in Bridgewater, NJ, will be responsible for several direct reports and will report into the Vice President of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Direct brand managers and cross-functional team members, in the development and execution of winning strategic and tactical marketing plans.
    • Key leadership areas include: Consumer Advertising and Engagement (TV, print, digital & social media), Consumer Promotion, Shopper Marketing and Trade Promotion, Healthcare Professional Marketing, and Financial Budgeting.
  • Responsible for impactful brand positioning and creative execution.
  • Builds strong relationships with retail sales team and participate in customer meetings with key retailers.
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with Key Opinion Leader (healthcare professionals) and the professional sales organization.
    • Brings innovation to strategic plans, marketing plans and product portfolio and generates a fact-based business case to support new ideas; including new product innovation.
    • Manages relationships with key vendors, agencies and cross-functional partners. Fully leverage capabilities and roles of all partners.
  • Oversees budget and P&L for portfolio of brands. 

Qualifications

• BS degree in marketing or a related discipline required, MBA preferred.
• 5-7+ years of experience within US OTC and/or CPG marketing organization. Healthcare professional marketing experience a plus but not mandatory.

• Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with senior management
• Good analytical, interpersonal, people management, and influencing skills
• Strong social / digital media acumen
• Must have basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Demonstrates sound business judgment and financial acumen.
