Aseptic Prep Operator I

3rd shift, Saturday to Wednesday, 11pm - 7:30am


Assure the purity, strength and safety of sterile and non-sterile products via cleaning, disinfection, preparation and sterilization of the aseptic manufacturing areas and equipment. This position required Aseptic Core Gowning Certification, Rinse Water Testing, Disinfection Certification and all related EHS and functional training to maintain GMP requirements.


  1. Cleans and disinfect aseptic and non-sterile manufacturing areas.
  2. Prepares sanitizing agents for use. Disassembles, cleans and prepares precision filling and compounding equipment for sterilization.  Prepare low to medium complexity of sterilization kits; for examples: Line 11/14 solution and suspension and Compounding kits CKA, CKL.   
  3. Loads and operates autoclaves, dry heat oven, and CIP/SIP skids for cleaning and sterilization of manufacturing equipment in accordance with the production schedule.
  4. Documents information correctly and timely in batch records, forms and area logbooks per cGMP documentation practices.
  5. Actively participate in department 5S or continuous improvement teams.
  6. Meets and maintains all required training during the year.
  7. Support OpEx initiative, perform WISE OWLS observations. All   other duties as assigned.


High School diploma.


Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in an aseptic environment. Ability to work different shifts/weekends as needed to maintain the production schedule. Ability to work with multiple departments/ management. Basic computer / office applications (Email, Word, Excel). Good aseptic practices, good mathematical skills and excellent documentation skills. Able to work quickly and under pressure. Must be detail oriented and quality conscious. Team oriented and excellent communication skills.
